Inspired by all of these rainbow-organized bookshelves, I think we are going to put together our bookshelf along this same vein. I can only imagine what this would look like in a huge, private library! It is so pleasing to the eye, although it might make it a little harder to find the specific book you are looking for…

With our advent calendar up, I went looking around for other advent inspiration. A minimalist ribbon with different patterned paper envelopes is so simple but really visually appealing–especially with those mini-clothespins. I think this second one from sperobene was my favorite: the cheery colors and hanging cookies look so fun and merry! I want to eventually try making this advent calendar from Progressive Pioneer, maybe with some funky-yet-festive patterned fabric. I also found plenty of other advent calendar roundups sure to give more than enough inspiration for making other awesome calendars. There are so many to choose from–I am glad we have our own unique calendar :)
