What to do?

So I have been sitting here, in front of the computer, for a very long time. I have a lot of new material that I have written over the last two days — due to my recent attendance at creative writing workshops. I’ve been debating on whether or not to post what I’m writing. I feel hesitant to put the pieces up here because 1) they are still in the draft stage, 2) I don’t really know much about copyright-ing on blogs, and 3) it seems that some publishers consider poetry posted on blogs as ‘previously published’ (1, 2). I guess for now I will refrain from posting new stuff — although any information on the subject(s) would be much appreciated.
Instead, I will update on my
Gosh-I-can’t-wait-until-summer* life:
In about two hours, I am meeting with some people from my ballroom class to work on our final project. We’re a group of 15, and we have decided to do a Hairspray/Grease mash-up — complete with authentic music and dance moves. Ever heard of the Lindy Hop? Yeah, we’ll be throwing that in, as well (minus much of those amazing/crazy moves). So far, we haven’t had everyone together at a meeting (I guess this doesn’t say much since we’ve only met once). The project’s due in a week and a half, so we had better get our butts in gear.**
In art news — I need to be half way done with my final project by Tuesday. Unfortunately, I am only about 2/70th the way done. It’s not hard, exactly - just very, very time consuming. Basically, I am creating a story board by drawing on a bunch of post-its. Seventy of them, to be exact. Words of advice/warning: Procrastination and perfectionism do not mix.
I also have three more projects in each of my three other classes, but I don’t want to talk about them. Mainly because I haven’t started even thinking about them. With only three weeks left in the semester, I’m sure this are going to be crazy/hectic/uncomfortable/practically impossible. And then summer.
Then I can breathe.
“I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, It’s a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. Which is what I do, And that enables you to laugh at life’s realities.”
— Dr. Seuss
*This consists of me going on and on about current/future class projects. I don’t expect anyone to care about this.
**Pretty sure that’s not a correct cliche.

Ok… Um. The art project sounds interesting. It’d be fun to see it once its done.
And the Dr. Seuss quote - very true.
